MarioKart fundraiser..a huge success!!

When the dust had settled after a huge evening of "racing" , Heather, Matt, Chris and Megan had raised $180  for Team Crazy Legs.... but more than that, they had raised awareness , had a lot of fun and inspired people to use this great idea for their own fundraising efforts.
One of the contestants was Ryan Barton who is a DJ on 105.3 FM The Fox. He did a write up of the event and posted it..as well as some great photos..to his blog..you have to check it out!

We know that this is the first of many times that they will be using MarioKart to raise money for our team!

A great fundraising idea from Heather, Megan, Chris and Matt!!

Our total as of today is

$1232!!

That includes Mike's last lotto draw and Trevor's last two 50/50 draws at work. I hear whisperings of a jewellery raffle and a Mario Cart competion ....I'll keep you all posted!

Once again Mike and his co-worker at Wolseley in Moncton have pulled off an excellent lottery fundraiser.The draw date was just before Christmas 2010 and tickets sales were brisk, enabling them to raise $630 for Team Crazy Legs. What a great way to kickstart our 2011 Walk!

Not to be outdone by the dogs, Ginger has decided to be part of Team Crazy Legs! Thanks to Mike and Terri for the T shirt!

Top Fredericton Team..Again!!

Team Crazy Legs raised $7724 for the MS Walk 2010 , making us top team again for the Fredericton Walk! Our 5 year total is $29,596...not bad for a little ole team from Freddy Beach!
