Mike came up with this awesome fundraiser and with the help of some of his co-workers got it up and running. John Bennett created a spread sheet that made it all so user-friendly and fun to keep track. After 6 lotto draws we had a lucky winner ...David Samuel..one of Mike's peeps! He won $380 and the same amount went to Team Crazy Legs! What a great way to go into the last days before the Walk. Kudos to Mike and his helpers! I hope we can do this again next year!
Our Happy Dance! Ra-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta!
Today Kim and I hosted our second annual Dessert and Coffee Party at Aberdeen Towers. We had a great time and were again overwhelmed by the donations. Many of the residents gave to MS, even if they could not come to the party. Although we are no longer surprised by the generosity of people (especially Maritimers) we continue to be grateful for it !! It is a sad sign of the times that almost everyone these days knows someone with MS.
When the dishes were done, the place tidied up and all our bellies full, we had a total of $575 to add to Team Crazy Legs's awesome fundraising!

Mike and Terri have some help this year with their fundraising! Jersey and Rickard now have custom T-shirts and are all set to take donations! Who could resist these cute faces!
Sandra Thomas (the happy lady on the right !) ...ticket sold by Kim! We raised $1029 with the ticket sales...way more than we thought possible. Thanks to everyone who bought and sold tickets and made it such a successful campaign.

Today Kim and I spent a nice morning at the Victoria Health Center selling tickets and chatting with people. We sold $111 worth of tickets...but more importantly got people talking about MS. A rough estimate of our team's total to date is a whopping...drum roll, please...$509!!!
Kudos to team member Kim for her idea of adding PayPal to our blog site and to Megan for setting it up! A big thanks to Allison and Cathy for buying tickets today with PayPal...now I can rest easy that it works!
